SAP Transportation Management (TM) Lead (Daily Rate Contract)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Lead to join our client’s major SAP programme for a leading organisation in Ireland. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will take ownership of SAP TM design and delivery, working closely with business stakeholders, systems integrators and wider SAP teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Transportation Management (TM)
• Act as the primary SAP TM subject matter expert across the programme
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions
• Provide leadership and guidance to SAP TM consultants and offshore/onshore teams
• Ensure integration with related SAP modules (e.g. S/4HANA, EWM, SD, MM)
• Support testing phases (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and go-live activities
• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous improvement post-go-live
• Ensure best-practice SAP TM solutions aligned with business and industry standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP TM Lead or Senior SAP TM Consultant (6 + Years)
• Proven delivery experience on SAP S/4HANA programmes
• Deep knowledge of transportation planning, freight order management, carrier collaboration and settlement
• Experience leading workshops and managing senior stakeholders
• Strong integration experience with other SAP logistics modules
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Previous contract experience in large enterprise environments is highly desirable
